May 2020-

    • Troop 429 activities are currently cancelled until further notice
    • Meetings will be happening virtually on our normal night and time via Zoom or Discord
    • Look for virtual camp and merit badge opportunities in announcements!
    • We may have an international meet and greet with scouts in England coming up soon...

Our troop has meetings on Monday nights from 7-8:30 pm at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church (see map). We will typically have 1 outing per month, and sometimes 2, depending on interest and availability.

We have gone to Kennedy space center in Florida, caving in Tennessee, hiked the Appalachian Trail, we go skiing every February, have a lock-in every December, we go fishing, camping, climbing, and like to spend time cooking around the campfire.

Every summer our scouts vote on which location to camp. We have been to several sites in Georgia, and even venture out to Virginia, and North Carolina for a week of scouting adventures.

In addition to the summer camp, our older scouts have an opportunity to go on High adventure camps for 2 weeks in Florida, New Mexico, West Virginia, and in the rivers of Northern Minnesota and Canada. We have been sending scouts on these adventures for 15+ years!
